This page is to provide a map or outline to aid in navigating the Taylor Family Genes website.

Because the site has daily additions and revisions, this map is not intended as a complete list of all files.

Major Sections

The site is divided into folders or directories, each containing similar subject matter. These are

  1. Root

    Pages in the root directory are introductory, of  general interest and point to information contained in the sub-directories below
  2. Contact

    Miscellaneous files, scripts, etc. for contacting project admin team. Direct access is not permitted.
  3. Family trees

    Taylor lineage trees submitted by project members. Access to files is best via the search features implemented. Go there now.
  4. Groups

    Pages about the Taylor genetic families found in the project. Go there now.
  5. Haplogroups

    Pages about the haplogroups found in the project. Go there now.
  6. Images

    This folder contains the images (pictures, diagrams, charts, logos) used in pages throughout the site. Direct access is not permitted.
  7. Resources

    Miscellaneous special features are in this folder and its sub-folders. See below for more. Go to the folder now.
  8. Temp

    This folder is for ephemeral, temporary files. If deemed worth retention, they are moved to other files and folders. Direct access is not permitted.
  9. Y-Results

    This folder was planned for pages about the yDNA results in the project, summary statistics by genetic family. Due to privacy concerns, we no longer publish them. Direct access is not permitted.
